1. Practice Pattern Recognition

One way to foster creativity is by recognizing patterns in what we observe. For example, if you read a lot of detective novels, you might know that detective fiction uses specific motifs. As a result, you’ll be able to predict the outcome of stories.
Of course, some people are better than others at picking up patterns quickly. In fact, you can sharpen your pattern-recognition skills by studying math, nature or art.

2. Pick Up a Musical Instrument

Musical instruments coordinate body and mind. It is involved in producing music that can nurture the creative side. In the same way, picking up an instrument like the piano can give many benefits. As you begin practicing the basic finger movements, likewise it improves cognitive thinking.

3. Play Chess

5. Drawing and Photography

Getting involved in the fine arts is a great way to improve your creative ability. It assists in seeing finite things into the larger picture. Photography and drawing are deeply creative activities. The ability to frame representations of what you see can change the way you view the world. Artists visualize the surroundings to detail a drawing.

6. Do nothing at all

Sometimes your mind just needs to unplug from processing. Close the past volumes of information in the form of internet articles and posts, text messages and other miscellaneous materials.
Processing too much information not only make your mind reel. But also stop your productivity and creativity. Similarly relaxing for a while before continuing a task can yield much for your creative capacity.
